Hire our space
Our church hall is ideal to hire for all sorts of groups. It is usually available on a Saturday, or on Sunday afternoon, as well at various times during the week. The hall has been used for everything from a wedding reception through to martial arts and keep fit, so it is very adaptable!
We find that the hall works especially well for birthdays parties. At 13m by 9m in size, there is lots of room to create the party space you are looking for. There is room for a bouncy castle, but hirers must ensure it is properly insured. The toilets are handy, and there's a kitchen. We also have child-sized chairs and tables available, and a set of 12 gym mats.
As well as one-off hirers for things like parties, we do have several regular groups that use the hall. These include a mental health support group, an NHS Falls prevention group, an intercepted Food Club (run by Sustainability Morecambe), Baby Sensory Lancaster, West End Slimming World group,, Wise Up drama workshops, a camera club and a computer class. In the past, we have also hosted a dancing group and a table tennis club. This is in addition to our church activities.
In the past year, we have renovated our meeting room. This now has a whiteboard and a 50in TV screen, with HDMI and VGA connection to show video and/or presentations. This room can seat up to 20 people. Please contact us if you would be interested in using this room.
"Stanley Road Baptist Church provides a warm welcoming hub right in the heart of the West End community, The church provides an ideal location to run a busy Slimming World group on a weekly basis, I’m delighted to use the church, it’s a great location, easily accessible to local residents and the team at Stanley Road help make my job that much easier” Emma Bogin, Slimming World co-ordinator
If you are looking for a space for either a regular activity or as a one-off, get in touch below and we will be able to discuss availability and pricing. We ask that hirers fill in an application form before hiring. Please note, that our Trustees reserve the right to refuse a potential hirer.
